LOKI Season 1 Finale Breakdown & Theories

What an episode LOKI finale has been. It has completely blown all the Marvel fans as well as the whole MCU, oh wait!!! it’s no longer a universe but a multiverse.

The episode kicks off with Loki & Sylvie entering the new found castle behind void after enchanting Alioth. They get to witness Miss Minutes there who offers them to make a pact with the “He Who Stays” to keep things as it is and he will make everything happen which they ever wanted. But Loki & Sylvie are not convinced with it and keep marching within.

Now this is one of the most jaw dropping moments as the theory of lots of fans finally turned out true and we got to see Kang The Conqueror who is being played by Jonathan Majors. Kang introduces himself to both Sylvie and Loki and starts telling them about his origin and how TVA created.

He also tells them how he knows everything about what’s gonna happen by showing a paper with all the next dialogues written on it. That’s how he was able to block all the attacks of Sylvie when she initially tried to attack Kang.

Although Loki & Sylvie are not convinced enough with the explanation as Kang ultimately says TVA was created by him in order to save the multiverse from different versions of him who will be attempting to conquer all worlds. This is the only way how everything can remain at peace.

Kang offers Sylvie and Loki a chance that they take over the control of TVA and manage it as he himself has turned old and is tired of living for millions of years. Sylvie is still angry on Kang and his words make no impact on her while Loki is somewhat convinved as he starts to consider the option which makes Sylvie think that Loki is showing his true colors and he is being greedy here for the throne.

Loki tries to convince Sylvie that what if Kang is speaking truth and they should consider it. Sylvie is still mad on this and eventually they both start fighting with Sylvie attacking Loki while Loki only tries to dodge all the attacks and still tries to calm down Sylvie. At the end of this small battle Sylvie and Loki finally get to kiss each other dwelling in the feelings which is such a pure moment and something fans were awaiting for long. But Sylvie soon uses the moment to send Loki back through the Tempad.

Once Loki is not there, Sylvie warns Kang if he wants to beg for his life. Kang remains cool and just tells here this won’t be the end and he will see her soon. Sylvie draws her sword through Kang with his last words being “See you soon” with a smile on his face.

On the other side, Loki lands in TVA but realises it’s another timeline as Mobius does not recognise him when he meets him.

Now with this Marvel has declared the beginning of Multiverse as the next few tv series and movies are all based on it specially Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It will also see Kang as the main villain. It’s going to be super interesting now how things will unfold and how Doctor Strange will deal with him because Kang is clearly way too powerful for a villain.
