The second trailer of Venom 2 is out and it reveals quite a lot of details about the main characters involved.
Since the first Venom movies performed really well on the box office, Marvel is pushing its Spider-Man spin off movies to expand the possibilities. The new trailer of Venom: Let There Be Carnage has a lot of goosebumps moments for its. So without any wait, lets share the noted details from this trailer:
1: Kasady gets turned into Carnage
The trailer has a strong scene where serial killer Kasady becomes Carnage with the dialogues “All I ever wanted in this world is carnage”. The scene takes place in Church just like the story of “Maximum Carnage” in which the setup is almost same around.
2: Eddie is still not able to control Venom
As earlier, Venom & Eddie still argue a lot and are not on the same lines together. Eddie is seen struggling to keep up with Venom who is craving to eat people. Venom is shown more of a lethal protector who want to go by his norms. We get to see a scene where Eddie & Venom confront with the eponymous Carnage and make a pact to deal with him. Venom also says “That is a red one” which hints us that red one’s are more lethal although this isn’t the case in comics.
3: Carnage is after Eddie’s ex-wife Anne
It’s clear that Carnage is targeting Eddie’s ex-wife Anne Weying which is being played by Michelle Williams but we’re not sure what’s the reason. It can be because Carnage is trying to get back on Eddie using her or Anne simply had some involvement in the judgement which led to Kasady behind the bars as Anne is a lawyer by profession.
4: Shriek is introduced
Shriek is a super-powered sonic manipulator who had a troubled childhood. She will probably get out of the Ravencroft Asylum and might become a partner of Carnage given both of them shared the asylum. She is a huge threat to Venom as symbiotes are very vulnerable to sonic blasts.
