A cryptid infected by an unidentified virus which causes inflammation and rapid enlargement of organs and muscles (like the tongue and especially the brain which pops out of the skull after a point). The virus isn't airborne and carried through blood. The infected cryptid might live as long as twice it's lifetime causing decaying skin in some parts, mainly on the forehead.
